Having been given the tip off about an advert that had been placed, Paul and Julie Badger visited Lincolnshire to discover this 1956 Caterpillar D4 6U in a pile of bushes.

After pulling the crawler out of the undergrowth with a teleporter everything was free, to Paul’s surprise. With that in mind it was given a tow andthe D4 6U fired up. Amazing considering how long it’s been standing, but at least there was a cover over the exhaust pipe. Now back home, the Cat tool bar blade and cab have been removed and it’s all been sand-blasted ready for a full paint job. All in all it has turned out very well on this one for the Badgers.
